Our Establishment

The Hon'ble Minister for Forests inaugurated the Tamil Nadu Forest and Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (TNFWCCB) on 14th December 2022, marking a significant milestone in wildlife conservation. This specialized unit was established to combat forest and wildlife crimes through coordinated efforts and advanced technology.

The Bureau operates with a clear mandate to protect Tamil Nadu's rich biodiversity and natural heritage. Through strategic partnerships with law enforcement agencies and conservation organizations, we work tirelessly to prevent illegal activities that threaten our forests and wildlife.
